Shirley lee
Hi! Welcome to the 2017 -2018 school year! I am Shirley Lee and I am from Mississippi. After completing high school I attended Coahoma Community College, previously known as Coahoma Junior College. Two years later I was married and traveling the world with my military husband. For the next 15 years I worked from my home (on several army posts) as a certified Child Care Provider. In 2001, I became a long term substitute teacher at South Girard and a year later I was hired as a paraprofessional for exceptional learners. In 2010 I graduated from University of Phoenix, Columbus, Georgia campus, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I returned to school to receive a Master’s Degree in Special Education and completed it in 2016 from Grand Canyon University. I love children and enjoy teaching exceptional learners; they have changed my life. It is my goal to motivate them to reach their highest potential.
The best part about my classroom is that I share it with you (students) and your parents! We will have an amazing year!!
