Jeneena James
I was raised in Garland, Texas. I went to Clark Atlanta University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Print Journalism. While at CAU, I was in the band (trombone). For the next few years, I was the assistant manger at Waldenbooks. During the summers I worked at camps. I also taught Sunday school and AWANA classes at church. These experiences helped me to discover that I loved working with children. I decided to go back to school and get a degree in education. I later moved to Alabama in 2008 and attended Troy University (in Troy). While at Troy, I was in the band (trombone, colorguard). I graduated with a Masters Degree in Secondary English Education. I have been teaching for the past seven years, and it brings me joy each day. I find a reason to smile each day while I am helping my students reach their goals.
